| Chuck is a 1981 graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After graduation Chuck went to work as a staff accountant for Mott & Crane in Indianapolis. Ernst & Whinney purchased Mott & Crane and shortly after he moved on to Whipple and Company. He continued working there for five years specializing in small businesses and addressing their specialized accounting and tax needs. Chuck was then recruited by Tom Reed to join Reed & Company, P.C. Chuck joined Tom in 1989 and became a partner in 1990. He has continued his work with small businesses specializing in helping contracting companies, restaurants, seed companies, and not-for-profit agencies with all their financial challenges. He has also become well-versed in qualified and non-qualified stock option plans for the employees of some of the larger corporations here in town. Chuck is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. He is active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Wabash Valley and is a former President of the Board of Directors, as well as a board member for the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra. Chuck is married and has two children. |
