| Tom, a partner with Reed & Company, P.C., grew up in West Lafayette, graduating from West Lafayette High School in 1976. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer in 1980. Upon graduation, Tom worked in Indianapolis for Mott & Crane, which merged with Ernst & Whinney. There, Tom specialized in working with privately owned businesses. In 1985, he left Indianapolis to join his father Bill at Reed & Company, P.C. He has continued his work with privately owned businesses and has also become one of the area’s foremost experts in small business consulting and estate planning.. He is active at St. Mary’s Cathedral as Chairman of their Finance Committee, a commissioner of the Lafayette Housing Authority, on the Board of Directors for the Gibault School for Boys in Terre Haute, and is chairman of finance for the Lafayette Catholic Schools. Tom is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Tom and his wife Barb have three daughters. |
